Mission and Vision
The Mission of the United Methodist Church is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. We are dedicated to this mission. We believe this mission will be accomplished through instructive sharing of God’s irrefutable love, divine grace and the presence of the Holy Spirit in the world.
Pastor’s Vision... The pastor’s vision for “Mighty” Moore’s Chapel is that by the grace of God, we prove to be the church that can and will make a difference in this community and in the world. We will live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ by sharing God’s love, promoting spiritual growth and encouraging others to accept the grace that God so freely gives. It’s only through Jesus that love conquers all of our shortcomings.
In our journey as followers of Jesus, we are called to embody His love and extend His grace to all those around us. The scripture from Romans 12:13, "Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality", reminds us of two important aspects of our Christian duty: contributing to the needs of the saints and showing hospitality.
The motto of the United Methodist Church is "open hearts, open minds, open doors. "Mighty Moore’s Chapel has been presented with an opportunity to live out these principles of our scripture and the moto of the United Methodist Church as we open our fellowship hall to our fellow brothers and sisters from formally, Carrollton First United Methodist Church and now known as Community First united Methodist Church.
